This tool has been developed to support education providers with the development of their Knowledge and Technology Transfer activities.

The KTT Profile Builder will support curriculum developers, departmental heads and strategic planners with developing up-to-date content.

The outcome will be a KTT action plan derived from an analysis of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) assets of the organisation, and from an appreciation of trends and current issues facing employers.

Future Tech

FutureTech was developed by NEF for the UK Learning and Skills Improvement Service to provide an update on new and emerging technologies and assist in new curriculum development. It provides thousands of technician-level learners with relevant new knowledge and helps hundreds of lecturers to drive improvements in their teaching.

The FutureTech series consists of five e-induction packs in the following areas:

• Biomedical engineering
• Renewable energy
• Nuclear energy
• Composite technologies
